Childhood Silence

This is a painting for children with scars of violence and broken families. The blue hands which symbolize abuse are suffocating the girl’s strength to speak against her childhood upbringing. These hands should instill fear in her eyes but I painted strength in her eyes - a strength that ready to overcome a childhood that suppressed her.
